POSTING DATE: September 4, 2025 POSTING #374-25 (CUPE Service)EXPIRY DATE: September 9, 2025HURON PERTH HEALTHCARE ALLIANCENOTICE OF VACANCYPOSITION: ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES IPrimary Sites: Seaforth and ClintonRegular Part-Time(Shifts: 8-hours, Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends; may be subject to change)REPORTS TO: Manager, Environmental ServicesDATE REQUIRED: As soon as possibleSALARY: $26.14 to $27.80 per hourQUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of Grade 12 education.- Basic knowledge of sanitary practices and their importance.SKILLS/ABILITIES:- Responsible for providing a quality housekeeping service to the patients, public and staff members of the HPHA, within a team environment.- Ability to understand and apply PIDAC practices and procedures- Ability to read, write and comprehend English, with regards to verbal work orders and/or instructions- Able to read, understand and comply with HPHA Policies & Procedures- Compliance with sanitary and infection control requirements- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and other relevant legislation- Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills- Basic comprehension of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel- Able to meet the physical demands of the position.Please be advised that we are no longer accepting emailed or paper-based resumes.
