- Manage scheduling of vehicles for repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring timely shop flow and vehicle availability.
- Create, update, and track work orders, ensuring accurate documentation and status updates across internal and customer systems.
- Monitor fleet appearance and report body damage resulting from abuse, incident, or accident; coordinate follow-up as required.
- Ensure effective and efficient inventory control, including receiving, issuing, reconciliation, and regular physical inventory counts.
- Maintain complete and accurate files and records for the customer, BC Commercial Vehicle Inspectors, and internal/external audit requirements.
- Support maintenance operations by assisting mechanics with diagnostics and troubleshooting when required to reduce downtime and improve repair quality.
- Monitor and support basic oversight of BEB (Battery Electric Bus) charging stations, ensuring charging readiness is tracked and any issues are reported/escalated promptly.
- Maintain company facilities in a clean, safe, and environmentally sound manner; retain required environmental and OH&S records and reports.
- Support the supervision and coordination of wash bay and fuel bay activities, ensuring proper procedures and safety protocols are followed.

- You have a Red Seal certification in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Mechanic. (Or equivalent)
- (Cummins engine experience is preferred).
- You have your Vehicle Inspection certification, or willing to acquire.
- You hold a valid driver’s license with Air Brakes endorsement, required.
- Strong computer proficiency; comfortable working in Excel, Word, Outlook, and learning/using additional inventory, work order, and customer systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment; able to work independently and stay self-motivated in a fast-paced shop setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on accurate documentation and service delivery.
- Ability to support and assist mechanics with diagnostic troubleshooting to drive quality repairs and reduce repeat work.
- Shop and open-air yard environment and on road calls in all weather conditions, as required.
- This position requires 10-hour shifts, including weekends, with the following schedule:
- Friday: 15:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. Saturday: 15:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. Sunday: 13:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Monday: 15:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
