Relief Case Manager / Case Worker- West Ave

- Develop and maintain a caseload
- Complete an intake and assessment on each resident
- Design, implement, in consultation with supervisor, an interview schedule that will provide an evaluation of "quality of life" improvement of successful program participants
- Maintain confidentiality with regards to clients/staff and Centre's records
- Responsible for participating in Good Shepherd's Health and Safety programs, procedures, procedures and work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations to minimize risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd.
- Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of issues impacting cis women, trans and non-binary individuals including violence, abuse, mental illness, homelessness, poverty and substance use
- Experience working in a residential setting is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Intake and Assessment
- A demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity is essential
- A completed post-secondary education in a related field is required
- C.P.R. certification (or willingness to be certified)
- A valid Ontario driver's license (G) is also an asset
- The successful candidate will have a flexible schedule
- Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset
