We're looking for a creative Industrial Designer to join our high-energy Seasonal & Garden team, where your designs directly impact how people tackle their outdoor projects, from weekend warriors to professional landscapers.You'll be the creative force behind an incredibly diverse product portfolio spanning our powerhouse brands - Mastercraft, Yardworks, Woods, PWR POD, and Golfgreen. One day you might 3D print models to refine the ergonomics of a 48V chainsaw, the next you could be reimagining condo gardening solutions by mapping user journeys and identifying pain points, or diving deep into Canadian Tire sales data to uncover opportunities for next-generation snow shovels that give us a competitive edge. This isn't your typical design role - you'll combine sales analytics with user testing to validate designs, learn from cross-functional departments, and collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners to bring your visions to life. You'll develop into a master of consumer product design and retail strategy.Design Across Diverse Product Categories: Inlcuding but not limited to power tools (48V/20V chainsaws, snow blowers, lawn mowers), hand tools (ie. rakes, pruners, weeders), seasonal products (ie. snow removal, pool accessories, gardening gloves), and garden systems (ie. trellises, planters, grow lights)Lead Designer for the Assortment: Your team will comprise of engineers who will help bring your visions to life. You will have ample control over design direction.Lead across multiple products: The goal is to give you variety in products and to feel proud of all the products you’re launching. We will aim to grow your scope of products to lead millions of annual revenue dollars of product per year.Process Forward: The team is always evolving with new ways of operating and always willing to try new ways of working.
