- Supervise and lead control room operators and security staff during assigned shifts to maintain operational effectiveness
- Monitor all security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and alarms, for suspicious or unusual activity.
- Serve as the first point of contact for escalated security incidents and emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate response.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs, reports and documentation of all SOC activities and incidents.
- Review and verify the accuracy of daily reports submitted by SOC operators.
- Ensuring strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), post orders and reporting protocols across the team.
- Train, mentor, and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to SOC operators and new staff members.
- All other related duties
- Must have a valid Alberta Security License
- 3 - 5 years of experience in security operations centre or similar enviornment
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Strong knowledge of secuirty systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and alarm monitoring
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
- Proficient in maintaining logs, reports and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
