We are dedicated to fostering a positive organizational culture that encourages growth, development, and pride among our team members.SummaryThe duties of the Final Assembler include but not limited to the following:
  • Checking flight bill– the worker reviews the flight bills to determine what items are required for each flight. The counter height is 36 inches high, which may require the worker to bend slightly. This activity is done intermittently throughout the day and the bending is not required for any prolonged periods of time.
  • Assembling flights–trolleys that have been rebuilt are brought over to the assembly area by the bar/boutique builders. The assembler stages the trolleys according to flight number. *Headsets, hampers and satchels are added, as requested, to the trolleys to complete the flight. Fully assembled flights are pushed into the cold room to await pickup. The worker marks the flight complete on a board in the cold room.
Own transportation is an asset as public transport is limited in the area.This position is represented by a labour Union and is covered by one or more collective bargaining agreement/s.Responsibilities:
  • Work 8 hours rotative shifts that will include weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Work overtime when required
  • Arrive to work on-time
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Complete paperwork
  • Communicate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Follow directions
  • Work as a member of a team
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written), who demonstrates sound judgment, tact, and works well in high-pressure situations.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Must have skill and ability to understand and read spec.
  • Able to handle multi-tasks and adapt to change.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, honesty and mutual respect.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques, as regular and repetitive heavy lifting (approx. 50lbs) is required.
  • Ability to work shift work
Environmental Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
  • Subject to cold temperatures (ranging from +10 degrees Celsius to at or below 0-degrees Celsius)
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • This is a physically demanding position - Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
  • Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft.
