- Project Execution: Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Scheduling & Documentation: Prepare and manage construction schedules, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Negotiate revisions, manage subcontractor relationships, and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor job cost forecasting, billing, and financial reporting to maintain budget integrity.
- Client Relations: Act as a key liaison with clients, supporting business development and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and promote a strong culture of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) across all project phases.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience: 8+ years of project management experience in marine or heavy civil construction.
- Professional Registration: Registered or eligible to register as AScT or EIT/P.Eng. in British Columbia.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of marine construction techniques including foundations, cranes, barges, and driven piles.
- Project Controls: Proficiency in contract documentation, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project), and financial management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
