As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.The Director of Finance will oversee all financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions and will have an entrepreneurial mindset. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong financial planning and analysis experience who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Director of Finance will work closely with the executive team to drive financial strategy, innovation, optimize performance, and ensure fiscal integrity. Someone with a growth-oriented mindset will thrive in this role.Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.
- Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Partnering with operations, sales, and production teams to improve cost efficiency and margin performance.
- Managing cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervising and mentoring finance team members.
- Collaborating with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- CPA designation.
- Progressive finance experience, including experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar strategic finance role.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
