Responsibilities:
Oversee AR and manage complex bills of material
Deal with financing companies and ensure financial accuracy.
Lead and mentor a team of approximately seven people
Ensure financial accuracy within evolving accounting processes.
Foster positive team dynamics and communication, especially with long-term employees.
Collaborate closely with other accounting team members and interact with plant personnel, requiring occasional presence on the plant floor.
Adapt quickly to responsibilities during a period of lean staffing and transition to new standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, particularly regarding costing.
Qualifications:
CPA is required with 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
Manufacturing experience an asset
Solid experience with budgeting and reporting
Excellent soft skills, including strong communication and the ability to work well with diverse team members and manage change effectively
Must be willing to work 100% on-site
