In this role, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and get a little bit better each and every day, with the support of a team that always has your back. There’s more to any job than words on a page, but the focus of this role is installing glass, On any given day, the Glazier is responsible for:
  • Performing physical labor related to site setup, surface prep, hoisting, and cleaning
  • Accurately measuring, cutting, transporting, packing, and unpacking materials
  • Fabricating aluminum frames and doors
  • Identifying and working with a diverse range of interior and exterior glass products
  • Learning best practices for installing various glass systems: curtain walls, windows and doors, skylights, railings, feature walls, etc.
  • Working from heights such as scaffolding, ladders, swing stages, roofs, and platforms
  • Maintaining and operating hand and power tools

  • Valid Class 5 Alberta license and reliable vehicle
  • Experience fabricating aluminum frames and doors
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Qualifications that are considered an asset:
  • High school diploma
  • Journeyman glazing or fabrication ticket - or working towards
  • First aid training, fall protection certification and swing stage training
  • Prior experience in construction (hobbies, summer jobs, or volunteer activities), agriculture or forestry, manufacturing, municipal work, or other non-construction trades
