In partnership with Meridia, ANS is seeking to grow their team with the addition of a Field Electrical Technician, Field Electrical Technologist, or Electrician.Role Description
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of electronic equipment across diverse locations, primarily situated outside of New Brunswick. This role provides the opportunity for both national and international travel, allowing you to explore captivating destinations and broaden your horizons. You'll immerse yourself in this exciting adventure, spending a maximum of 10 weeks travelling in the field. - Collaborating closely with project teams on installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment.
- Participating in the design and installation of airfield navigational aids, weather systems, and communication equipment.
- Conducting calibration and troubleshooting of electronic equipment, with an emphasis on electrical diagnostics.
- Participating in remote fieldwork and traveling to diverse locations, both nationally and internationally.
- Contributing to the formulation of project-related documentation and engineering plans.

- Electronics Technology/Technician Diploma or demonstrated post-secondary equivalent. An electrician background is also desirable
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Fundamental electrical and mechanical proficiency
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally, with a valid passport
- Airfield experience is an asset
- Project management skills are considered an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered a strong asset.
