Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and (TM/eWM) Lead to join their project starting in starting in January 2026 for a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SCM ,TM, eWM project implementations and will oversee 2-3 projects (EWM) and (TM) with core logistics, manufacturing, sales, procurement, and finance processes. Operating within a System Integrator, the Lead drives solution architecture, fit to standard design, backlog/prioritization, cross workstream integration, quality gates, and go live readiness across onshore/offshore teams and third parties. This hybrid role comes with the expectation of weekly or bi-weekly travel (Monday night to Thursday EOD).Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of 2-3 SCM projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, and proactively manage risks and issues.
  • Lead project status meetings and provide regular, clear reporting on progress to stakeholders and management.
  • Lead the analysis of client business requirements and configure the SCM system to meet those needs.
  • Oversee system design, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment phases.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented according to best practices and defined business processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, logistics, operations) to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members or client power users on the new system and processes.
  • Ensure a smooth transition and user adoption by developing training materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Monitor project success against defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization post-implementation.
