As we grow, we are evolving our supply chain to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficiently for our customers and partners across the country.Position SummaryWe are looking for a Category Manager to join our team, reporting into the VP of Ecommerce & Merchandising. Someone who is organized, trend-obsessed, and ready to dive into the fast-paced world of professional beauty. This isn’t just about picking products; it’s about the art and science of a great assortment. You will help build exciting new brands from the ground up while nurturing our existing favorites. You’ll be the bridge between our suppliers and our shelves, ensuring our planograms look sharp, our promotions hit the mark, and our sales reporting is top-tier.What You Will Do
  • Assortment Growth: Help identify "the next big thing" in beauty. You’ll manage new brand launches and execute strategies to grow our current portfolio.
  • Merchandising & Planograms: Own the visual strategy. You’ll manage planograms and off-shelf programs to ensure our products are easy to find and impossible to resist.
  • Promo Planning: Lead the charge on promotional calendars, vendor funding, and post-promo analysis to see what truly moved the needle.
  • Sales Reporting & Reviews: Get into the data. You’ll conduct regular sales reviews and report on margins, productivity, and SKU performance to provide actionable insights.
  • Inventory & Lifecycle: Manage the "end-to-end" life of a product—from forecasting and initial purchase to SKU rationalization and exit strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Act as the primary point of contact for our suppliers and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Ecommerce, Franchise and our Stores to keep everyone aligned.
Who You Are
  • The Experience: You have 3 years of experience in Category Management. You understand the retail landscape and are ready to take the next step.
  • The Speed: You thrive in a fast-paced environment. "Deadlines" don't scare you—they motivate you.
  • The Mindset: You are highly organized and detail oriented. You can switch from a creative brainstorming session about new brands to a complex Excel sales report without missing a beat.
  • The Passion: You genuinely love the beauty industry and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Technical Skills: You’re a pro with MS Office (especially Excel) and have experience working with ERP inventory systems.
