As an Engineering Graduate, you'll contribute to meaningful municipal, private, and First Nation projects-supporting everything from roads and servicing to stormwater and wastewater systems.This role offers a strong local project focus in Owen Sound and surrounding areas, with opportunities to support projects across Northern Ontario and First Nation communities, broadening both your technical experience and community impact.Your Impact
  • Support the design of municipal infrastructure including roads, water, wastewater, stormwater, grading, and site servicing
  • Contribute to concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings and technical designs
  • Assist with feasibility studies, stormwater management design, and engineering reports
  • Prepare design briefs and regulatory submissions (including MECP applications)
  • Support construction cost estimates, quantities, specifications, and contract documents
  • Participate in construction administration, shop drawing reviews, and field inspections
  • Assist with quality control, budgeting, scheduling, and record drawing preparation
  • Collaborate with project managers and office leadership on day-to-day project delivery
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited Canadian university
  • 0-5 years of experience in land development or municipal engineering
  • Foundational understanding of road, site servicing, grading, drainage, and stormwater systems
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and its design capabilities
  • Familiarity or interest in OPSS, OPSD, and municipal design standards
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Comfortable working in office, hybrid, and field environments
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
