These roles require being on-call for after-hours maintenance/tenant support and emergency responses.Ideal candidates will have ample experience with maintaining and managing both commercial and residential properties. Required skills include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build/foster relationships with tenants and external vendors, as well as the capacity to troubleshoot problems in a calm and friendly manor.Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:
  • Maintenance and general upkeep of multiple properties (small repairs, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), scheduling specialist contractors/service providers and renovations as needed
  • Overseeing/coordinating preventative maintenance and ensuring all properties are up to health & safety standards (permits, licensing, fire safety, etc.)
  • Managing budgets/expenses in regards to service contracts, projects/renovations and approving invoices for payment
  • Ensuring all properties are safe/secure by managing all building security systems (access, cameras, alarms, etc.) and being on-call for after-hours maintenance/tenant support and alarm responses
  • Tenant communication including service requests, issuing memos for work being conducted in the building, questions/concerns, etc.)
  • Other duties and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Heavy lifting may be required (up to 50 - 70 pounds)
  • Proficient with MS Word
Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience in building maintenance/management or a related field is required

Base Salary: $60,000 - 85,000 per yearAdditional Notes:
  • These opportunities do not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidates should relocation be required.
