Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThe instructor will be responsible for the delivery of the Fall 2026 course ENVS 4004, Pathways to Sustainable Energy. This class teaches students about energy efficiency and renewable energy from technical, economic, and political perspectives, with the goal of understanding andbeing able to contribute to the transition to zero-carbon energy systems.The instructor will be responsible for preparing content, lecturing, holding office hours, preparation and grading of student material, submitting final marks to the Registrar's Office, answering student inquiries and hiring/supervising TAs.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionMinimum of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Geography, Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science). Relevant teaching experience will be considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates with previous course experience.
Salary Range/Pay Rate In accordance with CUPE Agreement Local 3912
