- Prepare, season, and cook dishes to exact specifications, consistently delivering exceptional quality.
- Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing coaching, training, and inspiration.
- Monitor and maintain recipe and presentation standards, ensuring consistency across services.
- Develop menu ideas, features, and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Sous and Executive Chef.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain assigned station and overall kitchen cleanliness, following HACCP and sanitation standards.
- Manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with a passionate team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive, high-performance environment.
- Value established guidelines and teamwork while mentoring others to achieve operational excellence.

- Culinary degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume, upscale kitchen (Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef experience preferred).
- Proven leadership and mentoring ability, with experience motivating and inspiring a team.
- Strong knife skills and mastery of a variety of cooking techniques.
- High attention to detail with the ability to remain calm, precise, and consistent under pressure.
- Knowledge of HACCP; FOODSAFE certification an asset.
- Physical stamina to thrive in a hot, fast-paced environment; able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- A disciplined, detail-oriented approach combined with a team-first, motivating mindset.
- Experience with sustainable, local, or farm-to-table cuisine.
- Knowledge of advanced culinary techniques or international flavors.
- A passion for coaching, skill development, and continuous learning.
- Continuous standing for long periods of time.
- Frequent walking, bending, and reaching above/below shoulder height.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 lbs / 10 kg.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.
- Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment for extended shifts.
