Service Shop Supervisor

- Responsible for day-to-day support of the Service Department
- Planning/scheduling and prioritizing jobs for technician, working hand in hand with the technicians, troubleshooting, organizing, managing customer demands all while supervising a team of highly specialized Service Technicians.
- Liaison between customers and service operations. Maintain an open, working relationship with the customer during the repair process.
- Communicate work in progress and updates to team and management.
- Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the service team to ensure repairs are completed in an efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other department and quality manager to identify and improve the procedures and efficiency of the shop.
- Maintain a 5S environment.
- Ensure all company policies are followed through the repair process and meeting any, and all customer requests. Ensure our ISO policy is followed throughout all repairs.
- Execute initiatives to maintain a safe and organized work environment and to improve on shop productivity.
- The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the On Call rotation.
- Our facility is a 24/7 operation, overtime to be expected
- Minimum 5yrs in supervisory/leadership role
- Red Seal Millwright or industrial electrical would be considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
