- Proactively monitor for potential risk exposure of the active trader segment with aim to preemptively manage credit and market risk
- Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets, generating actionable insights that inform risk strategy and business decisions
- Compile active trader and high value client segment reporting to track key segment performance (segment profitability, risk metrics, margin lending, sector concentration, trading activity, etc.) and drive data-based decision making
- Prepare structured analyses, often in time-sensitive circumstances, and be able to summarize key insights into a coherent, concise communication suitable for executive consumption
- Build robust processes and documentation in support of Credit & Risk, or regulatory and control requirements
- Specializing or majoring in a business/finance, mathematics, engineering, or risk management focus
- Knowledge of and familiarity or hands-on experience with self-directed investing platforms. Stocks and options trading knowledge preferred.
- Strong data analytics skills, including experience with tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau to extract, analyze, and visualize data for business insights
- Familiarity in Excel and PowerPoint, including experience developing business documents and leadership presentations with clear, compelling communications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret raw and complex sets of data, turning them into digestible summaries and actionable recommendations
- Ability to understand business questions and issues, think strategically, synthesize information quickly
- Ability to work in a team to understand business requirements and provide viable automated solutions
- Ability to independently manage deadlines while multitasking between different projects; strong results-oriented project management skills with a high attention to detail
