Are you a kind, high-energy individual who loves children and finds joy in helping a household run smoothly? We are a busy professional family of three (plus two senior cats!) living in the Town of Mount Royal, and we are looking for a wonderful person to join our "village". As we have demanding work schedules, we need someone reliable, positive, and proactive to support our 10-month-old son as he transitions through his afternoon and evening routines. The Schedule Hours: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM (4 hours/day) Days: Monday to Friday Here is what a typical afternoon would look like: The Head Start (2:30 PM - 3:30 PM): While our son is still at daycare, you'll have some quiet time to assist us in keeping the home organized. Tasks would include light housekeeping (vacuuming/Swiffering-essential for our two cats), light meal prep (chopping veggies or preparing the baby's dinner), and general tidying. The Pickup (3:30 PM): A short, pleasant walk to the local daycare to pick up our son. The Evening Routine (4:00 PM - 6:30 PM): This is the most crucial time of the day! You'll engage him in play, feed him dinner, give him a bath, and get him settled into his pajamas and ready for bed. Our Ideal Candidate: Bilingual: We are raising our son to be bilingual, so knowledge of both French and English is ideal. Positive Energy: You are naturally patient, kind, and you genuinely love the infant/toddler stage. The "Helper" Mindset: You are someone who notices a floor that needs a quick Swiffer or a kitchen counter that needs clearing and takes action during downtime. Animal Lover: You should be comfortable around our two friendly, 14-year-old cats. Working with us would be a joy because we offer a respectful, welcoming, and organized environment.
