Moving beyond compliance, we truly value the experience and knowledge brought to our Indigenous partnerships.We are looking for motivated people who is committed to growing their professional career at Procon while gaining valuable knowledge and experience.Project Details:Based at our project in Northern B.C., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunityResponsibilities:The Long Hole Drillers on our remote project in Northern BC is responsible and accountable for the following:

Strictly adhere to all legislated regulations, including the BC Mines Act, as well as company Health & Safety policies to ensure safe work practices and uphold Health & Safety as the top priority.
Comply with all site-specific and underground policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and safety standards.
Drilling production holes using top hammer drills.
Check scaling and safe loading of development rounds.
Ensure that the work area and equipment are consistently maintained in a clean, organized, and operational condition to support safety and efficiency.
Other mining related tasks as required

Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum five (5) years working full-time in an underground mining environment
Minimum two (2) years experience long hole drilling
Must be competent drilling with Sandvik Data solo drills. Preference will be given to candidates with previous in-the-hole (ITH) Aries drills.
Demonstrates strong literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to comprehend written work instructions and accurately complete shift reports, including documentation of meters drilled and any issues encountered.
Capable of reading and interpreting mine engineering drawings and drill prints to ensure precise execution of tasks.
Communicates effectively when receiving or delivering verbal instructions, contributing to safe and efficient completion of assigned duties.
Participate in daily toolbox meetings and “welcome back” sessions upon returning to site to ensure alignment with safety protocols and operational updates.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, punctuality, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Must be willing to work a 3-weeks-on / 3-weeks-off rotational schedule.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repetitively and consistently throughout the workday.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse crews and adapt seamlessly to different team dynamics.
Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative as a proactive contributor to high-performing teams.
Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus, efficiency, and safety standards.

If this position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.What we offer:

Competitive annual salary ranging between $128,000 - $150,000 based on experience and qualifications. The wage ranges are comprised of the hourly wage plus applicable premiums and calculated on an average number of rotations worked per year
