- The Captive Analyst will be mainly responsible for delivering policy underwriting consultancy (renewal, migration, plan design) to multinationals under the guidance of consultants of the Global Benefits Captive team. The analyst will use data insights to support and guide team members in advising clients on the insured benefit plans in their captive portfolio and will participate in other special projects such as request for proposals, feasibility studies, etc.
- Generate policy underwriting recommendations to be shared with Risk and Insurance Management on client side.
- Collaborate with client specific account management teams towards diligent and timely delivery of underwriting advice.
- Attend client meetings and present results as an integral part of a collaborative client service team.
- Participate in underwriting related conversations with employee benefits (EB) providers across the client portfolio and coordinate to ensure timely delivery of their reports.
- Reviewing provider reports (reinsurance financial statements, claims, etc.) for accuracy, raise queries and ensure any corrections are made;
- Supporting our consultants with the management of larger strategic accounts and bespoke projects including feasibility studies and captive implementation.
- Coordinating with colleagues of local employee benefit advisers/brokers leveraging their knowledge to help your understanding of a client’s data.
- Measuring and reporting Aon’s performance against objectives agreed with the client;
- Taking a role in internal initiatives aimed at driving efficiency, improving client experience, and building our team infrastructure.

- Bilingual (French and English)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software, mainly Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
- Analytical, able to interpret data with good numerical and problem-solving skills;
- Working knowledge of differing types of employee benefits (e.g. pension, risk benefits, medical);
- Organised approach to managing various, competing workstreams;
- Excellent written and report writing skills and an engaging verbal communication style;
- Results-orientated, accustomed at setting high standards and working in a demanding environment.
