What You’ll Do:Lead and manage day-to-day site operations for full-cycle construction projects from excavation to occupancySupervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain quality and schedule adherenceEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policiesConduct site meetings, maintain detailed project documentation, and generate progress reportsCollaborate closely with Project Managers, consultants, and clients to solve problems proactively and keep timelines on trackMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organized jobsite in line with BC Building Code Project Types:Residential: Wood-frame or concrete towers, 4–20+ storeys, townhome and mixed-use communitiesICI: Commercial new builds, institutional, and light industrial What We’re Looking For:5+ years of superintendent experience with reputable general contractors in CanadaProven ability to manage full-cycle projects from mobilization to close-outStrong knowledge of blueprint reading, scheduling (MS Project or similar), and site coordinationJourneyperson (Red Seal Carpentry) or engineering background strongly preferredFamiliarity with IPD or collaborative project delivery models is an assetExcellent communication, conflict resolution, and documentation/reporting skillsHands-on leadership style with a passion for team-building and mentorship What We Offer:Competitive salary: $120,000 – $160,000, depending on experienceCompany truck or vehicle allowanceRobust health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, and vacation packagesPossible Relocation assistance for candidates moving to Vancouver IslandCareer growth within a well-established, values-driven company known for quality and innovationA company culture that values work-life balance, transparency, and respect Why Vancouver Island?Think breathtaking coastline, world-class hiking and biking trails, vibrant communities, and no shortage of fresh air.
