Responsibilities:
  • Circuit Design and Development: Lead the design and development of electronic circuits and systems, leveraging expertise in analog and digital electronics.
  • Schematic and PCB Design: Utilize CAD software such as Eagle to create precise schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance and maneuverability.
  • Firmware Development: Develop firmware for micro-controllers and embedded systems, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components and adherence to project requirements.
  • System Design and Analysis: Conduct thorough system design and analysis to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Perform comprehensive testing and evaluation of electronic components and systems, identifying and resolving any issues to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Apply strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and debug electronic systems, ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion, aligning with project goals and timelines.
  • Documentation, Analytics, and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, test procedures, and results. Conduct data analysis to derive insights into system performance and reliability. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Additionally, actively participate in code commenting to ensure clarity and maintainability of firmware and software components.
Skills:To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
  • Solid understanding of electronics engineering principles and practices, with expertise in both analog and digital domains.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Eagle for circuit design and PCB layout, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers and embedded systems, with proficiency in languages such as C/C++ and Processing.
  • Ability to solder SMD components with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality assembly of electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in Verilog for digital circuit design and simulation, facilitating the development of complex electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with signal processing techniques, enabling the implementation of advanced functionalities in electronic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex electronic systems, ensuring efficient resolution of technical challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Student or Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Hardware/Software or Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in electronics engineering, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
