Schedule: 7x7 schedule, housing is availableWhat You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to equipment-down situations requiring advanced technical troubleshooting, including providing after-hours technical support as needed.
- Support the development of project plans, priorities, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and procedural requirements.
- Track, monitor, and support field test programs, maintaining close communication with the Reliability Group and Corporate Technical Support teams.
- Identify, track, and report product and equipment issues, providing clear status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Analyze technical issues that may impact equipment availability and reliability, and proactively communicate risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Serve customers by providing expert technical guidance and resolving complex equipment-related issues.
- Act as a key liaison between SMS Equipment, Komatsu, and customers to support issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Lead or participate in task force committees focused on addressing product or equipment performance concerns.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports, customer updates, and technical documentation as required.
- Provide technical support to ensure the success of preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Review preventative maintenance, vibration analysis, and oil analysis programs to maximize equipment performance and program effectiveness.
- Support tradespeople by providing technical guidance on repair procedures and techniques when complex or unexpected issues arise.
- Proven knowledge of mining equipment and components, including maintenance and repair practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated accuracy with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with General Electric software, Cummins engine diagnostic software, and payload systems is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations, and equipment inspection requirements.
