  • Completing daily and monthly accounting for various types of construction projects
  • Managing and reconciling subcontractor contracts and purchase orders
  • Preparing and posting monthly accounts receivable invoices
  • Posting accounts payable invoices
  • Preparing payment certificates and cheque runs/EFTs
  • Preparing various month end reconciliations
  • Preparing and analyzing month end project financial statements
  • Assisting with other assignments as required
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years previous experience in an accounting role
  • Experience in a similar construction/job cost accounting role is considered an asset
  • Completion of post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate with a focus on accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with Jonas software would be an asset
  • Strong organization skills and ability to work independently
