Description :Summary:
FET Variperm is a class leading service and supply company specializing in sand control engineering, completion and work-over tools and cased hole fishing services. And that’s what we do: our customized sand control solutions allow us to respond quickly to the ever-changing variability of our customers’ vertical and horizontal well operations.The Shipper/Receiver prepares orders by processing and supplying requests, pulling materials, packing, wrapping, labeling pallets, and placing material in staging area. They perform receiving inspections on incoming orders to ensure requirements are met and ensure incoming items are properly identified before being released.Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Unload incoming material shipments and store efficiently in designated locations (steel pipe, steel wire, etc.)
Organize and identify stock and maintain inventory; restock materials as required
Performing receiving inspections on materials for defects and damage
Organize space in the warehouse
Maintain quality service by following organization standards
Adhere to health, safety, and quality policies, as well as all company policies and procedures
Arrange shipment of product as required by order documentation in an accurate and timely based on commitments made to the customer
Receiving product accurately and timely so the product is available for order fulfillment as soon as possible
Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and yearly inventory counts, as well as monthly cycle counts
Responding to any shipping discrepancies in a timely manner based on service level commitments
Participate in training and safety meetings as required
Other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge

Team Player
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Mechanically inclined
Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and job order documentation
Able to follow and understand both oral and written instructions in English
Dedicated to continuous improvement

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
Grade 12 basic math skills
Forklift Operator Certification; experience handling oversized loads and industrial materials preferred
