The Production Operator is expected to conduct all matters in a manner consistent with the company’s Corporate Values of Innovation, Caring, Capable, and Collaboration.Responsibilities:Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Works with machines and computer systems to produce animal feed.Timely processing and on-time delivery of orders that meets or exceeds customer expectationsResponsible for meeting or exceeding production targetsEnsure the correct formulation usedFollow housekeeping standardsPlan and follow sequencing guidelinesConstant quality awareness / moisture testingImplement continuous improvement planAdheres to the safety and food safety requirements per Trouw Nutrition protocolsMust adhere to all Regulatory RequirementsProper Log documentation for Food Safety RequirementsSkills and ExpertiseQualifications:Grade 12 education or equivalentExperience working in a Feed Mill or manufacturing environment preferredWillingness to be coached and learn processesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsBasic computer skills/machinery operationSome machinery maintenance skills requiredWorking at heightsNumeracy and accuracyWilling to train the right candidateExpectation from the Role:Permanent, full-time job, shift work 6 am - 2 pm & 2 pm -10 pm.
