The Business Solutions Department, Group and Business Insurance is responsible for ensuring the stability, operational control and evolution of the systems used by the Group Benefits and Retirement Savings business line. The department plays a leadership role in the delivery of digital projects, which is one of Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance’s five key priorities. As an Advisory Analyst, Systems Management, you help resolve and track system production anomalies under the business line’s responsibility. You analyze and help diagnose issues. You provide opinions in accordance with your discipline’s rules and help develop recommendations and implementation plans. You develop tools, methods and processes. You share ideas. You help solve problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of your line of business. You draw on your ability to manage complexity. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to :Help carry out various mandates and initiatives to support your direct manager.Analyze, recommend, resolve and follow up as needed to solve problems encountered by the team’s users and pilot groups.Update relevant documents for your unit, oversee the continuous improvement process and ensure the efficient use of the unit’s processes.Help develop and improve tools, key performance indicators, policies and processes that support your unit’s strategic projects and initiatives.Help develop strategies, devise solutions and diagnose issues, challenges and needs that require attention from your sector and advise on solutions.Provide support for analysis of the client’s business situation, document business features, and identify opportunities for improvement based on the client’s business needs.Act as a resource person for users, IT units and service providers.Ensure practices, procedures, methodologies and tools are used efficiently to achieve your unit’s objectives.Participate in the quality assurance process for project delivery at your business unit.What we offer*Competitive salary and annual bonus4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first yearDefined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirementGroup insurance including telemedicineReimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment*Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria.What you bring to the tableBachelor's degree in a related fieldA minimum of two years of relevant experiencePlease note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be consideredExperience with systems managementExperience with group insurance systemsExperience drafting test cases and carrying out tests as part of initiatives or projectsKnowledge of French requiredIntermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients Action oriented, Business insight, Complexity, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning#LI-HybridTrade Union (If applicable)At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
