We’re looking for someone that can move quick but has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work.We’re looking for a designer to take ownership of the digital graphics for multiple automotive brands and dealerships. We believe there are few levers as powerful as design to impact our marketing, so we are looking for someone to take us to the next level.We’re in the business of selling cars so there’s always lots going on and it’s a pretty fast-paced place. We like to be successful, so we make sure that hard work and results are recognized and rewarded.As a Graphic Designer for AutoCanada, you’ll work with our team to develop, coordinate, and execute multi-platform marketing initiatives for our automotive dealers across Canada as well as any corporate graphics that come up from time to time.You might be a good fit for this if you can:
  • Create clean, modern graphics and marketing collateral
  • Work in a fast-paced creative production environment without compromising design quality or missing project deadlines
  • Deconstruct and reproduce graphics created by other members of the design team as well as third-party companies and automotive manufacturers
  • Repurpose existing designs and adapt them to meet new requirements of a different dealership while following OEM guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain an abundance of design elements, fonts, and creative assets to be used multiple times in many different projects
  • Enjoy the creative freedom to work on some or all the following advertising assets: email campaigns, Google ads, Facebook ads, website banners, point of purchase materials, in-store signage, billboards, flyers, direct mail, video graphics and much more
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
  • We’d prefer if you have post-Secondary education focusing on Graphic Design
  • 5-7 years of progressive design production experience
  • After Effects/Premiere/motion graphic experience
  • Social and Google graphic experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • HTML 5 design knowledge considered an asset
  • You’re adaptable and a quick learner, who can get stuff done yourself and use other team members proactively when you need help
  • You can work on your own and don’t need to be hand-held through your daily tasks
  • You have an ability to juggle a whole bunch of jobs at once and can sort out what is a priority and what is not
