- About the Role
- Our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Architect to join their Victoria based team. This role is suited to someone who is both design minded and technically capable, with the ability to contribute across all project phases. You will work closely with clients and internal team members to develop concepts, produce documentation, and support projects through construction. This position offers a high level of involvement and visibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands on and well rounded role.
- Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects across all phases, from concept design through to construction completion
- Develop design concepts, drawings, and models using Revit and other visualization tools
- Prepare and coordinate construction documentation with a strong attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal team members
- Support project delivery, including coordination and problem solving throughout the process
- Participate in site reviews and construction administration as required
- Maintain a high standard of quality and technical accuracy across all deliverables
- Registered Intern or Architect with the AIBC
- Minimum 4 years of Canadian experience for intermediate level, or 8 plus years for senior level
- Strong working knowledge of BC Building Codes
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop
- Experience across multiple project phases, including construction documentation and site involvement
- Sustainability certifications such as Passive House, Built Green, or LEED are considered an asset
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution oriented mindset
