You will play a key role in improving test yield, diagnosing complex issues, and ensuring high-performance standards in manufacturing.Salary: $100,000/yearLocation: Newmarket, ONSchedule: Monday - FridayContract: Full-time | TemporaryVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.ResponsibilitiesLead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for high-frequency antenna systemsExecute RF testing and support production processes for systems operating above 24GHzPerform complex failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actionsAnalyze S-parameters (S11, S21) to distinguish between assembly defects and design issuesCompare simulation data (HFSS/ADS) with real-world production results to validate performanceSupport test yield improvements using data-driven and statistical process control methodsWork with high-frequency instrumentation (e.g., VNA calibration, signal integrity testing)Conduct OTA (Over-the-Air) testing, including use of anechoic chambers and antenna validation techniquesTroubleshoot mechanical and interconnect issues affecting RF performanceEnsure compliance with RF safety protocols and ESD handling requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and continuous improvementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required; MSEE preferred) with a focus on RF/Microwave or Electromagnetics3-5 years of experience in RF/Microwave production or design environmentsExperience working with high-frequency systems (24GHz+ preferred; strong RF fundamentals required)Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu)Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as HFSS or ADSStrong understanding of transmission lines (microstrip, stripline, waveguides) and RF theoryAdvanced knowledge of signal integrity metrics such as EVM and ACLRExperience with VNA calibration techniques (SOLT, TRL, waveguide calibration)Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for failure analysis and root cause identificationKnowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and production data analysisFamiliarity with antenna performance metrics such as G/T, EIRP, and beamformingUnderstanding of RF safety standards and ESD sensitivityStrong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be legally authorized to work and reside in CanadaInterested in this position?
