- Review Project Documents and identify the scope of work and efforts for planning and scheduling. Establish schedule Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to cover the project scope, and interfaces with other scopes and to meet standard procedures.
- Confer with Project Managers and other teams to review scope, identify interfaces, KPIs, set project targets and complete execution plans.
- Develop project schedules using known industry software to meet project requirements (Primavera P6, MS Project and/or TILOS).
- Liaise with project controls and cost control teams to identify project cost components, arrange, load, and assess schedule resources to different schedule levels and adjust/level resources to meet project plans. Participate in Schedule Risk Analysis workshops and determining the contingencies in the project schedule. Identify and optimize schedule critical path, project constraints, and other schedule assumptions and include in Basis of Schedule reports.
- Establish Baseline Schedules and maintain schedule updates and records, monitor and flag changes in sequence and report schedule variances with impact on completion dates and other schedule reports (including Charts, S-curves, and Resource Histograms). Take the lead in managing the project schedule in collaboration with project stakeholders (including clients and subcontractors) and coordinate and communicate simplified schedule reports to facilitate performance of work and collection of updates.
- Perform and establish reports on critical path changes, target dates variances and earned value management and support project change management processes. Review schedule performance and recommend corrective and/or preventive actions to recover delays and improve the schedule performance.
- Conduct schedule analysis to identify schedule quality issues, areas of improvement and corrective measures to recommend release of schedules for use.

- Post-secondary education or university engineering degree (PEO registration preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in planning of engineering and construction projects of large, complex, multi-disciplinary scope (industrial, infrastructure, institutional and transportation).
- Advanced skills with Primavera P6, MS Project and TILOS (preferred).
- Sufficient knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques (PMI-SP or AACE PSP certification preferred). Proactive detail-oriented and have a good knowledge of planning techniques.
- Proficiency in English spoken and written (French preferred).
- Excellent time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and staff at all levels.
