Brief Description:Our Employer is seeking a CNC Programmer with a strong background in multi-axis machining and a passion for solving challenging problems. The ideal candidate should have experience with programming software like Mastercam, SolidCAM, and SolidWorks, along with a deep understanding of G-code and inspection processes.You will be responsible for programming and supporting CNC milling and turning operations (3, 4, and 5-axis), working closely with machinists and quality control to ensure efficient setups and optimal part quality.Job Function:Key Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize CNC programs
- Design and simulate toolpaths for complex, multi-operation parts
- Interpret and apply 2D/3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with machinists to support efficient setups and ensure first-article success
- Troubleshoot and improve existing programs for efficiency and precision
- Use inspection tools such as height gauges, callipers, and micrometers to validate dimensions
- Read, write, and modify G-code as needed
- Ensure all programs comply with quality and safety standards
- Ensure parts conform with AS9100
Job Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC programmer.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC setup operator
- Understanding of programming (We will teach you how to use our software, but you must understand the basics)
- Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operations
- Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines
- Able to handle challenging, high-tolerance parts with multiple setups
- Familiar with standard inspection tools and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
