The Media Buyer is responsible for the overall execution and management of their assigned client's investment requirements, purchasing and monitoring all assigned campaigns to ensure all objectives are met.YOUR IMPACT:
  • Communicate buy changes to vendor reps e.g.: cancellations, shifts, brand changes
  • Maintenance of campaign executions e.g.: pacing, make goods and pre-emption
  • Invoice discrepancy resolution
  • Inputting/uploading campaigns - broadcast and potential digital
  • Generating campaign reports - including pre and post documents, Masterfile
  • Daily campaign maintenance
  • Corporate estimating and posting
  • Execution, confirmation and monitoring of investment buys
  • Leverage proprietary tools and other measurement software to inform decisions impacting client's video investment
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Driven desire to develop and excel in a media career
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and mathematical competency is a must
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated solid technical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a team
  • Positive, flexible attitude with ability to balance assignments and work under tight deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency in MediaOcean, InstarTV, LENS and other media related tools
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 years of experience in Investment buying
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business or a related field.
