Job Description:This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded litigation practice in Yonge & Sheppard, North York known for its quality over quantity approach. The firm handles complex, high-value personal injury and insurance matters, offering a more measured, detail-oriented environment, without the volume-driven pressure often seen in PI.You'll work closely with one partner and collaborate with a dedicated team of three experienced law clerks, allowing for meaningful involvement in files and a truly team-oriented workflow.Key Responsibilities

Open, organize, and proactively manage litigation files
Build and maintain well-structured files with a focus on accuracy and completeness
Request and coordinate medical, employment, and third-party records
Draft and prepare legal documents, including:
Correspondence and pleadings
Trial records and supporting materials
Coordinate scheduling for discoveries, mediations, and trial-related steps
Manage calendars and ensure all litigation deadlines are met
Liaise with clients, experts, and external parties with professionalism and care
Support trial preparation, including compiling high-quality briefs and materials
Work closely with the lawyer and clerks to ensure files progress efficiently and strategically

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in personal injury and/or insurance litigation
Strong experience requesting records and building files from inception
Proven ability drafting trial records and litigation documentation
Working knowledge of Accident Benefits (SABS)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A detail-driven mindset with pride in producing polished, accurate work
A collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills
