- Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen customer relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and introduction of assigned Retail and Business Banking Operations initiatives/projects of systems, products, new or enhanced and procedural changes.
- Manage the delivery, execution, and consideration of all key aspects of strategic projects including planning, scheduling, resourcing, risk assessment, cost/benefit analysis, time/cost estimates and a review of project work.
- Manage project implementation schedules based on a strong understanding of the impact on the business and key support functions and through reviewing business requirements with internal/external clients and consultants.
- Resolve frequent ad hoc requests and unplanned business issues. There can be stress resulting from constant interruptions and demands/volumes, as well as tight deadlines, delivery commitments, service/support requirements, and pressure situations.
- Establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and departments within Canadian Banking and other areas of the Bank.
- Familiarity of Commercial and Retail products, services, policies and procedures, banking regulations and related regulatory requirements
- Ability to develop compelling business cases, including cost benefit analysis
- Understanding of project management principles, methodology and tools
- Applies strong conflict management skills to negotiate effective resolution of issues/disputes
- Employs strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Works effectively with limited supervision and under pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Experience running projects leveraging Agile methodologies
- Bilingualism in Spanish is highly desirable but not required
- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are not a common occurrence.
- This role will position the candidate well for global and international Banking exposure, growth and networking opportunities give the nature of the cross-functional work and overarching business domains in scope of Canadian Banking and International Banking.
- This role has flexible hybrid working schedule. Primary location will be the Tahoe campus in Mississauga, Ontario. Secondary location will be downtown Toronto for partner meetings. Limited travel domestically/internationally.
