Electric Motor Repair/Rewind Technician

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair large AC & DC rotating electrical equipment, including motors with random or form-wound stators, rotors, and armatures
- Perform electrical and mechanical testing on repaired equipment to ensure quality, reliability, and peak performance
- Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Participation in structured on-the-job training programs
- Follow established safety policies and procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
- Other duties as required
- Mechanical or electrical background with hands-on knowledge of AC and DC electric motors
- Proficiency in using electrical test equipment and instruments for preliminary, intermediate, and final testing
- Familiarity with other electro-mechanical rotating equipment—such as pumps—is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Driven & focused on learning new skills, with a willingness to take on new challenges
- Accuracy and attention to detail
