We're here to make your time on campus unforgettable.Term: May 2026 till April 2027As an ECL you will work closely with the UASUevents staff team to gain the necessary skills to plan and host the best events on campus. Events Crew Leaders will help with the setup, execution, planning, volunteer management and teardown of all major UASU events. Through becoming an ECL you will obtain skills like Event Facilitation, Customer Service, Promotions, Leadership, Teamwork & Interpersonal Skills.Please do not apply to this posting as it is informational only. Summer (~10 hrs total)
Monthly Meetings (September - April): ~2 Hours/ 1 or 2 Per Month (~24 Hours Total)
Movie Nights: ~2 Hours Per Month (14 Hours)
Week of Welcome & Volunteer Recruitment: (~8 Hours in September)
Events Crew Volunteer Recruitment (~14 Hours in September and October)
Night at the Horrorwitz: (~10 Hours in October)
Campus Cup: (~30 Hours in November)
AntiFreeze: (~30 Hours in December and January)
Last Class Bash: (~10 Hours in April)
Qualifications:
Must be a University of Alberta student.
Excellent communication (both written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
Willingness and ability to volunteer varying hours.
Ability to work in an unbiased and impartial manner.
Experience with and understanding of event volunteering is an asset.
