Location: Manic‑3
Salary: $22.42/hourThe work schedule is 70 hours per week.
Hours worked beyond 40 hours per week are paid at time and a half.Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily preparation and cooking of meals according to the established menu, while ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Ensure proper mise en place in accordance with established standards.
- Be able to meet operational needs.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
- Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations.
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in cooking or equivalent experience (asset).
- MAPAQ certification (asset).
- 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
- Solid culinary skills (asset).
- Experience in remote camp settings (asset).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
