.Called the 'living room of campus,' the Students’ Union Building (SUB) is a hub of student activity and home to many of the UASU’s businesses and services. Whether in need of a cup of coffee, a place to print your notes, or a place to study, SUB is the building that caters to the student experience. Members of this committee have a variety of responsibilities connected to how SUB meets student needs.EXPECTATIONS AND TIME COMMITMENTThis committee will meet on an as-needed basis. The meeting schedule is subject to change based on the availability of committee members. Committee members are expected to attend as many meetings as possible, and carefully review all meeting materials in advance so they can make informed decisions.QUALIFICATIONSApplicants must be University of Alberta undergraduate students registered in at least one course for credit in the Fall and Winter semesters of the 2026/27 academic year. Familiarity with the Students’ Union Building is an asset. At least one of the students-at-large on this committee must be an Indigenous student, so First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit students are encouraged to apply.
