  • Piloter les cycles budgĂ©taires et de prĂ©visions pour l’unitĂ© d’affaires.
  • Participer au processus d’analyse financière, notamment en Ă©laborant des analyses de rentabilisation (business cases) et en documentant les hypothèses sous-jacentes.
  • AmĂ©liorer les processus et les systèmes afin d’accroĂ®tre l’efficacitĂ© globale des livrables en matière de rapports, de planification et de prĂ©visions.
  • Collaborer avec des Ă©quipes interfonctionnelles, y compris la haute direction, pour dĂ©velopper des KPI, maintenir et crĂ©er des tableaux de bord financiers et prĂ©parer des prĂ©sentations des Ă©tats financiers.
  • PrĂ©senter et suivre les risques et opportunitĂ©s pour l’unitĂ© d’affaires; ĂŞtre proactif(ve) dans la formulation de recommandations visant Ă  attĂ©nuer les risques et Ă  saisir les opportunitĂ©s.

  • Identifier les principaux facteurs de performance et prĂ©parer des tableaux de bord pour en assurer le suivi.
  • Fournir des rapports d’écarts de fin de mois exacts et livrĂ©s dans les dĂ©lais aux parties prenantes clĂ©s, sur une base mensuelle.
  • Contribuer Ă  l’avancement de projets spĂ©ciaux.
  • Fournir un soutien Ă  la prise de dĂ©cision, identifier et expliquer les tendances ainsi que les dĂ©veloppements Ă©mergents liĂ©s aux unitĂ©s d’affaires soutenues.
Section B – Exigences du poste
  • BaccalaurĂ©at en commerce avec spĂ©cialisation en finance ou en comptabilitĂ©. Titre professionnel en comptabilitĂ© prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© (CPA).
  • Minimum de 4 ans d’expĂ©rience dans un poste similaire.
  • Expertise dĂ©montrĂ©e en planification et analyse financières (FP&A). CapacitĂ© marquĂ©e Ă  comprendre des situations d’affaires complexes.
  • CapacitĂ© Ă  gĂ©rer des Ă©chĂ©anciers serrĂ©s dans un environnement en changement; penseur(se) stratĂ©gique et proactif(ve), avec une attitude et une approche flexibles face aux solutions d’affaires.
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais) – Ă  l’oral et Ă  l’écrit.
  • Esprit d’équipe.
  • Excellentes capacitĂ©s analytiques, aptitude Ă  relier clairement les rĂ©sultats financiers aux facteurs de performance opĂ©rationnelle, et capacitĂ© Ă  gĂ©rer et prioriser plusieurs projets simultanĂ©ment.

--Job SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will be a key financial and business partner for the Technology Solutions group. He/She will be responsible for key financial areas such as the long-range budget plan process and forecast process, and develop and implement financial models for the business. Tasks (responsibilities) are as follows, but are not limited to:Section A – Specific Responsibilities
  • Be the financial partner for the Business Unit leaders.
  • Act like a business partner to appropriately forecast upcoming revenue/expense activities.
  • Lead the budget and forecast cycles for the Business Unit
  • Participates in the financial analysis process, specifically by generating financial business cases and documenting supporting assumptions;
  • Process/system improvements of the overall effectiveness of reporting, planning and forecast deliverables;
  • Work with cross functional teams, including top management, to develop KPIs, maintain and create financial dashboards and prepare financial statement presentations;
  • Present and follow risks and opportunities for the Business Unit. Be proactive in providing recommendations to mitigate risks and implement opportunities;
  • Develop and implement financial processes to better meet the needs of each cost center owner;
  • Collaborates with top management to prepare financial presentations;
  • Identify key drivers and prepares dashboards to monitor them;
  • Provides accurate and on time month end variance reports to key stakeholders on a monthly basis;
  • Contribute to the advancement of special projects;
  • Provide decision support, identify, and articulate trends and emerging developments related to business units supported
Section B – Position Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance or Accounting. CPA designation prefered
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrates expertise in financial planning & analysis. Possesses a keen ability to understand complex business situations.
  • Able to manage tight deadlines in a changing environment, strategic and proactive thinker, with a flexible attitude and approach to business solutions.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate operational issues impacting performance of the business, including demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships. Maintains levels of communication with all levels of the organization and across various business segments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office skills – WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT. Exposure to Epicor and Salesforce would be considered an asset.
  • Capable of challenging the status-quo and influencing the decision-making process.
