- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of capital projects, including conceptualization, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of heavy industrial equipment.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of all mechanical systems and processes.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, offering solutions to complex engineering challenges and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of innovation by introducing advanced technologies and best practices to optimize the performance of industrial equipment and increase productivity.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project execution and procurement processes.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, preparing regular reports and presenting updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing capital projects within a heavy industrial environment, with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, including knowledge of industrial equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
