Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking a Senior UX Designer to support the design and development of digital credential products, including a privacy- and security-first digital wallet ecosystem. This role will help shape clear, trustworthy, and accessible user experiences across high-impact public-sector digital services. The Senior UX Designer will lead research-driven interaction design, create user-centred prototypes, enhance design systems, and provide cross-disciplinary consultation within Agile teams.ScopeShape the end-to-end user experience of digital credential products, grounded in trust, autonomy, and security.Design experiences that make new digital interactions usable and credible across public and private sector environments.Improve the quality, consistency, and coherence of design across the digital wallet and surrounding platform components.Use research and discovery activities to reduce risk and inform product direction, sequencing, and trade-offs.Assignment DeliverablesDesign end-to-end user journeys, interaction flows, and accessible interfaces for digital credential products.Lead user research activities (e.g., usability testing, interviews) and synthesize findings into actionable insights.Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, and collaboration boards to support discovery and delivery.Develop, document, and evolve design systems, components, and visual standards in collaboration with development teams.Expertise RequiredMust Have:Advanced user research capabilities, including method selection, synthesis, and evidence-based design.Proven ability to produce high-quality, developer-ready design outputs using design systems, components, and structured workflows.Experience designing UX for complex platforms, multi-service ecosystems, and multi-stakeholder environments.Strong graphic design, UX research, and outcome-driven UX delivery experience.Advanced proficiency with tools such as Figma, Axure, and Miro.Nice to Have:Open-source digital wallet design or verifiable credential ecosystem experience.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
