As the business continues its success and growth in the transit space, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to provide leadership and expertise across projects and the wider division, ensuring commercial rigour, consistency, and confidence in decision making.In this role, you will act as a trusted commercial partner to project teams and senior leadership alike, guiding the management of risk, entitlements, change, and contractual obligations while helping shape how commercial excellence is embedded across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working both strategically and hands on - influencing frameworks and governance at a divisional level, while remaining close enough to the work to add real value on live projects.About YouYou have a blend of technical strength, commercial judgement, and collaborative leadership, and you're ready to put them all to good use. You'll thrive in this role, by flexing your:
  • Strong Commercial & Contract Management Expertise: You have deep experience managing contracts, entitlements, risk, and financial outcomes on complex construction projects
  • Major Project / Contractor Experience: You've worked within a main contractor or large project environment and understand the realities of project delivery, joint venture dynamics, and governance
  • Risk Focused, Forward Thinking Mindset: You're proactive rather than reactive, able to identify emerging issues early and guide teams toward practical, defensible solutions
  • Relationship Building Prowess: You're comfortable operating across projects and teams, building trust and credibility with senior leaders, project managers, and site teams
  • Leadership & Development Orientation: You enjoy elevating the capabilities of others, whether through mentoring, setting standards, or improving systems and processes
  • Integrity & Professionalism: You value transparency, fairness, and long term relationships, and you bring calm, measured judgement to complex situations
