This is a customer facing, consultative solution seller role, ideal for someone with a background in digital marketing, marketing transformation, or marketing consulting who can extract client goals, shape marketing strategies, and translate them into enabling technology solutions. While experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing / Customer Insights is highly desirable, it is not essential - marketing domain credibility is the priority. The role balances presales, client engagement, and selective delivery involvement, and plays a key role in growing Avanade’s marketing led Business Applications footprint.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Domain Solution LeadershipAct as a marketing domain specialist for Avanade, bringing deep understanding of how modern marketing organizations operate, evolve, and deliver value. Help clients rethink how they structure marketing teams, processes, customer journeys, and technology to better engage customers and drive growth.Client Engagement & Marketing TransformationLead client facing conversations focused on marketing transformation, including customer experience, personalization, campaign management, customer journeys, and data driven marketing. Extract client business objectives driven marketing. Extract client business objectives and translate them into clear marketing strategies supported by enabling platforms and technologies.Pre-Sales & Solution SellingSupport and lead presales activities for marketing led opportunities, including discovery sessions, workshops, solution shaping, and executive presentations. Position Avanade as a trusted advisor in marketing transformation, not just a technology implementer.Journey & Experience ExpertiseBring strong expertise in customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, and omnichannel engagement. Help clients design and optimize channel engagement. Help clients design and optimize journeys that align customer needs, business goals, and technology capabilities.Technology Enablement (Not Technology Led)Advise how marketing technologies—such as Dynamics 365 Marketing, Customer Insights, Power Platform, and adjacent MarTech solutions—can enable marketing strategy and execution. While not required to be a deep platform expert, the role must confidently connect marketing concepts to technology outcomes.Delivery Contribution (30–50%)Contribute to delivery engagements as a marketing domain specialist, supporting discovery, design, and validation phases. Provide ongoing advisory input to ensure marketing strategy, operating model, and technology implementation remain aligned.Collaboration & Practice DevelopmentWork closely with Sales, Client Solutions, and Delivery teams to grow Avanade’s marketing led offerings.
