A prominent Canadian organization is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Operations & Supply Chain Lead to support enterprise-level post-upgrade optimization initiatives. This full-time position is ideal for someone who has led ERP optimization in asset-intensive industries and can bridge business needs with SAP delivery partners in a fast-moving technical landscape. This opportunity is Calgary-based, offering a flexible hybrid work model. The SCM Lead will be responsible for stabilizing and advancing operations-related modules across a recently upgraded SAP S/4HANA (RISE) environment. They will play a key role in system tuning, digitization strategy, and integration of cloud-based tools like Ariba, SAP Asset Manager, and Fiori apps used in field operations.What you will be doing:Strategic InitiativesDrive stabilization and optimization for S/4HANA modules in supply chain, maintenance, resource scheduling, and asset operationsWork closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver scalable improvements and integrationsShape and maintain a strategic roadmap for operational digitization initiativesOperational ExecutionIdentify and execute automation and process improvements within S/4HANA’s operations and logistics stackManage issue escalations and lead resolution of Level 3 support incidentsAssist in change management and user enablement across operational departmentsTechnical OversightProvide subject matter expertise on S/4HANA configurations, particularly in SCM, Ariba, Resource Scheduling (RSH), and SAP Service/Asset Manager (SSAM)Oversee mobile enablement, including deployment of Fiori applications for field operationsLead testing and validation efforts for quarterly system patches and updatesMonitor key business processes using real-time system alerts and dashboardsWhat you must have:8+ years of SAP experience, including 3+ years working directly with S/4HANA in an operational or logistics capacityHands-on involvement in post-upgrade stabilization projectsFunctional knowledge of Ariba (P2P, sourcing, supplier management) and experience working with SAP field operations tools like SSAM and RSHBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information TechnologyNice to have:SAP certification in relevant supply chain or operations modulesFamiliarity with API integration via SAP BTPExperience in asset-intensive sectors such as energy, manufacturing, or natural resourcesAwareness of Industry 4.0 and IoT concepts as they relate to asset operationsSalary/Rate Range: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00Other Information:
