  • Degree from a recognized university in Natural Resource Management, Science, Law, Engineering, Public or Business Administration or another relevant subject/field.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, including operational planning, financial management, and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse teams, including developing people, leading teams with varied skill sets, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully building effective working relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders such as representatives of the public/private sector, First Nations, and community or special interest groups.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple locations would be considered an asset.
  • Experience managing risk within projects would be considered an asset.

Job Requirements(s):
  • Willingness and ability to travel to and work in Yukon communities in all seasons.
  • Occasional requirement to participate in field work in all seasons and terrain types, often in remote settings, using a variety of vehicle types e.g. trucks, all-terrain vehicles, helicopters, boats etc.
