Our team of doctors, nurses, dietitians and more offer a range of medical services.What You’ll DoReporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care the Footcare Nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide foot care in conjunction with our Chiropodist and practitioners to enhance client quality of life through proactive lower limb assessment and evidence-based nursing interventions.What We’re Looking For❖ Life and Work Experience
  • Two- three years’ of foot care nursing experience
  • Previous clinic experience an asset
  • Previous experience using an EMR, preferably Practice Solutions Suite (PSS)
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices and reprocessing of instruments.
❖ Your Education Path
  • Current license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN)
  • Proof of footcare certification
  • Current CPR (preferred) Training
❖ Required Language
  • Fluency in English required
  • Working knowledge of French or other languages an asset

  • Knowledge of primary health care and the social determinants of health
  • Able to work effectively in an inter-professional environment
  • Knowledge and awareness related to cultural competence
  • Experience working with disadvantaged communities
  • Knowledge of footcare related to Primary Care, Community Health, Chronic Disease Management
