The Opportunity:ML6 is proud to support one of our favourite partners, a growth-focused Canadian organization that is expanding its product portfolio into new and emerging markets across North America. With an established foundation in infrastructure-based solutions, the company is now launching innovative technology-driven and sustainability-focused products - and they're looking to hire a Product Portfolio Business Development Manager to champion and scale these new revenue streams. This is a highly visible, national-facing role suited for a commercially driven builder - someone who thrives in emerging markets, knows how to take a new product from introduction to adoption, and can influence a sales network without direct authority. You'll act as the portfolio expert, closer, and internal catalyst for growth. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Acting as the national portfolio champion for newly launched and emerging product lines
  • Driving revenue generation by directly representing and closing opportunities across Canada
  • Supporting the successful launch and integration of new technologies and infrastructure-based solutions into the broader sales network
  • Partnering with regional Business Development Managers to incorporate new offerings into their territories
  • Serving as the subject matter expert - understanding product functionality, positioning, pricing, and competitive landscape
  • Working cross-functionally with operations to ensure product readiness, delivery, and support
  • Building strategic partnerships and channels to accelerate market adoption
  • Identifying and developing new market verticals, including B2C and commercial segments
  • Influencing internal stakeholders and sales teams without direct reporting authority
  • Traveling nationally to support customers, channel partners, and key accounts
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Proven success in business development or portfolio sales within new or emerging markets
  • Experience selling infrastructure-related solutions, emerging construction equipment and technologies, green/sustainability based commercial equipment, would all be considered highly relatable experience
  • Demonstrated ability to close - not just advocate - and build relationships that convert into revenue
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of marketing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
  • A highly adaptable “chameleon” mindset - comfortable shifting between strategy, field sales, and hands-on product engagement
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and sales networks without direct authority
  • Willingness to travel nationally and be present with customers and partners
  • Bilingual English/French is considered an asset
  • Ontario-based candidates preferred, with periodic in-office collaboration expected
Compensation Range: $90,000 - $110,000
